- KTM brake calipers are distinguished by the following features:
- CNC-machined from high-strength solid aluminum.
- Chrome-plated pad guide pins on the brake caliper.
- The benefits:
- Reduced brake pad canting, hence no uneven wear.
- Constant braking feel, irrespective of brake pad wear or temperature.
- No vibration from the brake.
- Note: KTM PowerParts recommends the use of hand pump P/N 587.13.001.100 and brake hose P/N 594.13.011.000 (SX) or P/N 800.13.011.000 (EXC) (sold separately). Can ONLY be fitted with a 17" or 16.5" front wheel. 310 mm brake disc (P/N 586.09.060.000) required and sold separately.
