You may have noticed SportBike rider Bobby Fong #50 wearing a whole lot of MotoSport.com leathers a few weeks ago at the Subway SuperBike Doubleheader in Elkhart Lake, WI. Fong recently signed a contract to race for MotoSport and we are excited to have him on-board.

MotoSport sponsored Fong's previous team RMR/Triple Crown but as was reported on May 16 by Roadracingworld.com, RMR/Triple Crown landed in financial trouble which affected several MotoSport sponsored riders, including Fong and Stefano Mesa who were in limbo just days prior to Road America for the May 31 weekend. At the last minute MotoSport formed a new team with RSRacecraft and signed Mesa and continued as a sponsor for Fong on his new team - D&D Cycles Castrol Triumph.

Fong is now riding a Triumph Daytona 675 and picked up right where he left off in Daytona and raced to a 6th place finish in the 13-lap Race 1. In the second race he ran into trouble and finished 22nd. Despite the setback Fong is set to have a solid season and compete for the championship. In March, he placed third in the 72nd running of the Daytona 200 - his best ever finish at Daytona. Fong is now in 7th place in the overall standings.
