MotoSport employees and those living in the Pacific Northwest with bikes did not participate in our favorite pastime very much this weekend as the remnants of a typhoon on the other side of the Pacific Ocean brought its deluge of rain and wind.

The first weekend in October looks like much better riding for us and Autumn weather doesn't seem to hamper the rest of the nation's motorcycle enthusiasts as many rides and rallies fill this week's calendar.

The big Las Vegas BikeFest starts Thursday and fund-raising rides like the PAWZ for Wounded Veterans in Temecula, CA and the Fire and Iron Poker Run in Palmetto, FL look like great opportunities to saddle up. The 3rd annual Poudre River Run, previously scheduled for September 14 until Colorado got hit with floods, gets a re-start on Saturday.

If you're an organizer of a ride or plan on participating in one, please let us know and we'll do our best to add your event to our weekly list of rides and rallies around the country.
