Portland, OR - May 14, 2018 - MotoSport.com resumes its role as the Official Online Retailer of the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series along with Title Sponsor of the MotoSport.com Holeshot and adds Title Sponsor for the Washougal Nationals.

MotoSport.com continues its effort in helping grow one of the premier racing events in the world as Official Online Retailor of the 2018 Nationals and holeshot sponsor for the second year in a row. Additionally, the #1 powersports merchant of parts and gear expands its role for 2018 and includes title sponsor of the Washougal Nationals. The total sponsorship package represents the most significant involvement with Motocross in MotoSport's nearly 20 year history.

"We could not be happier to be so involved with this outstanding summer tradition," said Darren Green, Director of Marketing for MotoSport. "Motocross is growing, more people are riding than ever before and we want to help keep the momentum going because if not for the Outdoors we wouldn't be here."

Customers and fans of the racing series can expect even more engagement from MotoSport.com and its employees for the 12 round series. Giveaways, pit presence at select rounds and a big prize package announcement revealed later this summer should help make the 2018 Motocross series the most fun yet.

"NBC Sports is very glad to welcome MotoSport.com back as a sponsor of the Lucas Oil Motocross Series," said Chris Stiepock, Vice President for NBC Sports Ventures. "We greatly appreciate the support from a brand that has been entrenched in the motocross industry for years, actively sponsoring many different races and charities and generally fostering passion for motorcycles from casual riders to the pros. We look forward to working with MotoSport.com in the future."

The 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series begins May 19 at the Hangtown MX Classic in Sacramento, CA and concludes at the Ironman National on August 25 in Crawfordsville, IN. All rounds including a post-race highlight show air on NBC, NBC Sports Network or MAVTV.

"After the long slog of winter, I think the whole country is looking forward to summer weather and all of us at MotoSport can't wait for the gates to drop at Hangtown," Green said. "Ken Roczen is back, we have a first-time Supercross Champion in Jason Anderson and the returning Motocross Champion Eli Tomac is back to defend his title. This year is gearing up to be one of the most exciting seasons ever."

About MotoSport.com

MotoSport was founded in Yakima, WA in 1999 by a gentleman named Bill Butcher.

Bill loved riding motorcycles and raced in the expert class in the super competitive AMA District 13 in the late 70s and early 80s. He ultimately founded MotoSport because he believed he could provide a better service to his fellow powersports enthusiasts than the vast majority of local dealers and because he had always dreamed of one day combining his passion with his business prowess. He built the foundation of the business upon a single shared passion for motorcycles and the rest is history, as they say.

Now well into our second decade, MotoSport continues to lead the powersports industry in selection, quality, expertise and customer service. We don't call ourselves "The Guys That Ride" because it's a catchy slogan. When you call for help or advice you'll actually talk to someone who owns, rides and wrenches on a dirt bike, street bike, ATV or side-by-side. You won't find a more knowledgeable staff of Gearheads or a more devoted customer base because those who rely on us for their parts and gear know that with MotoSport, the loyalty is mutual. Our competitive pricing and wide selection of products means you can grab everything from that impossible-to-find OEM bolt to the latest and greatest motorcycle helmet and have it all on your doorstep in days. Were passionate about what we sell because what we sell is fun.
