Portland, OR - May 10, 2019 - MotoSport.com signs a three-year extension and assumes Official Online Retailer Sponsor of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Series and Title Sponsor for the Washougal Nationals through 2021.

MotoSport.com has guaranteed its longest running involvement with the world's premier racing event by signing a contract extension through 2021 that gives the popular online retailer of parts and gear five consecutive years as a primary sponsor for the Outdoor National Championship series. Additionally, the agreement with NBC Sports and MX Sports Pro Racing calls for MotoSport to continue as title sponsor of the Washougal Nationals and the coveted holeshot sponsor.

"We are so excited to be a part of Motocross for another three years," said Darren Green, Director of Marketing for MotoSport. "Obviously we love the sport but even more than that we love being intimately involved with the Nationals while helping to grow dirt bike racing and help bring it to current fans and the next generation of riders."

MotoSport has a long tradition of sponsoring riders and teams but the current involvement represents the largest and longest investment for the sport of Motocross in the company's 20 year history. MotoSport started as a dirt bike parts and gear company and while the focus has naturally expanded over the years to embrace more of the powersports industry, at its core and heart remains dirt bikes and Motocross racing.

"Not only are we happy to have MotoSport as a partner, we are thrilled to have them sponsoring Motocross for the next three years," said Chris Stiepock, Vice President for NBC Sports Ventures. "The support as well as their now consistent and on-going presence in the Outdoor Nationals only serves to help grow the sport and make it better for fans and racers."

The 12-round 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series begins May 18 at the Hangtown MX Classic in Sacramento, CA followed by a return to Fox Raceway in Pala, CA, for the first time since 2011, the following week. The season includes a new stop at WW Ranch Motocross Park in Jacksonville, FL on June 22 and wraps August 25 at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, IN.

"We just concluded a fantastic Supercross season where Cooper Webb stunned the field and grabbed his first 450 class Championship," Green said. "We are super pumped to see what he brings to the Outdoors and whether Eli Tomac can make it a three-peat. We expect big and exciting things this summer and fans and our loyal customers can certainly expect big and exciting things from MotoSport."

About MotoSport.com

MotoSport was founded in Yakima, WA in 1999 by a gentleman named Bill Butcher.

Bill loved riding motorcycles and raced in the expert class in the super competitive AMA District 13 in the late 70s and early 80s. He ultimately founded MotoSport because he believed he could provide a better service to his fellow powersports enthusiasts than the vast majority of local dealers and because he had always dreamed of one day combining his passion with his business prowess. He built the foundation of the business upon a single shared passion for motorcycles and the rest is history, as they say.

Now well into our second decade, MotoSport continues to lead the powersports industry in selection, quality, expertise and customer service. When you call for help or advice you'll actually talk to someone who owns, rides and wrenches on a dirt bike, street bike, ATV or side-by-side. You won't find a more knowledgeable staff of Gearheads or a more devoted customer base because those who rely on us for their parts and gear know that with MotoSport, the loyalty is mutual. Our competitive pricing and wide selection of products means you can grab everything from that impossible-to-find OEM bolt to the latest and greatest motorcycle helmet and have it all on your doorstep in days. Were passionate about what we sell because what we sell is fun.
