Aerodynamic yet stable, the shell cuts through the air smoothly, keeping the rider energized and able to focus on the road ahead. The Challenger's shell is made from LS2's High Performance Fiberglass Composite (HPFC), an advanced, proprietary fiberglass blend that is ultra-light and extremely strong, with a slight amount of flex designed to diminish and offset kinetic energy.
LS2 artisans combine uniquely developed hand layups with advanced, computer-controlled technology to build the ultimate high performance shell. Dual, fully adjustable intake ports at the top are matched via LS2's channeled EPS to closeable exhaust ports at the rear. When paired with the flow separator spoiler, the rider will enjoy true, dynamic airflow. The adjustable chin vent is dual-ported to assist with keeping the shield free from fog, while also keeping the rider cool and comfortable.
Utilizing only optically correct Class A Lexan, the Challenger is prepared for battle. The eye port is extra wide to allow the rider to see the competition at their side, whether another motorcycle or an automobile. It is also extra tall, so they can tuck-in tight while being able to see further down track with less strain on their neck. The high performance, flat shield securely locks closed and is easily changed using LS2'S advanced quick-release system.
For the ultimate in fog fighting technology, the LS2 Challenger utilizes Pinlock Max, ensuring clear vision under the worst of conditions. LS2's performance wicking fabric is hypoallergenic. It pulls moisture and perspiration away from the rider and dries quickly, keeping the rider cool and comfortable.
LS2's Emergency Release System in the cheek pads allows for easy removal if the situation demands. The Challenger uses multi-density foams for optimum comfort during the heat of battle. The Challenger will face the competition head-to-head and feature-for-feature. Bold. Unafraid.

- Security:
- To ensure optimal protection the helmet must fit your head to perfection, special attention should be paid to the shell shape design and materials to minimize the effects of a possible impact. It is key to obtain a perfect fit to your head from outside to inside, as well as the shell, the configuration of the EPS liner, which should match closely the human head shape.

- Emergency Release System - LS2's emergency release system allows emergency responders to remove the cheek pads from the helmet, allowing extra space to remove the helmet with minimal movement of a fallen rider's head and neck. It is best to have someone hold the helmet to keep it from moving as you remove the pads. Slide your finger into the red loop and pull carefully, slipping the pads free. Slide the cheek pads over the straps and pull them away from the helmet.
