A horrible season-ending crash by points leader Ken Roczen overshadowed Ryan Dungey's win in the third round of 2017 Monster Energy Supercross held at Angels Stadium in Anaheim, CA. Roczen, who won the first two rounds, got thrown off the bike nine minutes after the gate dropped while trailing Dungey and Cole Seely. Dungey appeared headed for his first win of the year nonetheless as Marvin Musquin eventually grabbed second and Seely held on for third. In the 250 West class, Justin Hill got his first win of the season as Shane McElrath, who won the first two rounds, finished third and holds on to the points lead. Aaron Plessinger finished runner-up for the second time this year. Photos by Ryne Swanberg.
