Eli Tomac is starting to look like Eli Tomac with another dominating performance on Saturday for Round 7 of the 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series in Southwick, MA.

Tomac swept The Wick and has five straight Moto wins and six of the last seven. He stretched his lead to 19 points over Blake Baggett who finished in second in both Motos for second-place overall. Baggett, who injured his thumb last week at RedBud, hasn't won a Moto since High Point. Dean Wilson (6-3) grabbed his first career 450 class podium taking the tie-breaker over Cooper Webb (3-6) for third overall.

Marvin Musquin and Jason Anderson were dealt hard blows to their Championship hopes as Musquin crashed in Moto 2 and didn't finish after taking fourth-place in Moto 1 and Anderson opted out of racing altogether thanks to a practice crash late last week. Little consolation to Musquin, who moves into third-place in the standings, just three points ahead of Anderson, but is now 72 points behind Tomac. Meanwhile, Wilson is within striking distance of fourth-place just 18 points behind Anderson.

Zach Osborne (2-1) continues to dominate the 250 class with another overall win taking the tiebreaker over rookie Dylan Fernandis (1-2) who enjoyed a career best second-place overall. Alex Martin rolled two third-place results for the second straight week for third-place overall. Osborne has a 45 point lead over Martin and a 59 point lead over two-time Champion Jeremy Martin (4-6) who took fifth overall.

Riders get another break before the series resumes July 22 at Spring Creek in Millville, MN. Check out all the action at Southwick below. All photos by Ryne Swanberg.
