Marvin Musquin keeps rolling, sweeping Round 9 of the 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series on Saturday at Washougal MX Park.

Musquin dominated both Motos - and Eli Tomac - beating the current points leader by more than 10 seconds in each race. Musquin, who is in third for the Championship point standings, has four straight Moto wins taking his second career sweep in the 450 class, and closes the gap on second-place Blake Baggett to 22 and Tomac to 54 with three rounds remaining.

Despite grabbing second-place overall Tomac (2-2) increased his points lead to 32 over Baggett who continues to suffer from a thumb injury. Baggett (7-4) finished fifth overall dropping 12 more points behind Tomac. Martin Davalos (4-3) took third for his first career 450 class podium.

In the 250 class, Joey Savatgy followed a seventh-place Moto 1 with a dominating Moto 2 performance for his second straight overall. He remains in fourth-place in the standings just 15 points behind the idle Alex Martin.

Points leader Zach Osborne (4-3) continued his podium streak finishing second overall on the tie-breaker over Dylan Ferrandis (3-4) and Adam Cianciarulo (2-5). With Martin out after a practice crash last week, Osborne increased his Championship lead to 74 points - now over Jeremy Martin (9-6) who moves into second-place in the standings after taking seventh overall on Saturday.

Riders get another break this weekend before resuming August 12 at Unadilla to finish the last quarter of the season. Until then, check out all the action below at Washougal. All photos by Ryne Swanberg.
