Marvin Musquin dropped Eli Tomac on the final lap of Round 15 to take back the lead and grab his third win of the year in the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross series on Saturday in Foxborough, MA.

The somewhat controversial take-out occurred shortly after Tomac took the lead from Musquin who had held it the entire race. The move ripped the bike from Tomac who gave Musquin a sarcastic thumbs up as he casually walked towards his downed dirt bike to continue the race. Tomac finished second and Jason Anderson took third which marked the third round in a row Anderson, Tomac and Musquin finished in the Top 3.

The win moved Musquin five points closer to Anderson but with two rounds remaining and a 34 point lead, Anderson simply needs to stay out of trouble to raise the 450 class Championship trophy on Saturday in Utah.

In the 250SX East class, defending Champion Zach Osborne got his third win of the season and now leads Jordon Smith by 15 with one round remaining. Smith finished second and Kyle Peters defied a knee injury to take third, his first podium of the year. Peters crashed on a patch of ice the week before in Minneapolis on his way to the final practice session for Round 14 and tore his ACL and MCL.
