Ken Roczen became the first repeat winner of the 2020 Monster Energy Supercross season with a pretty resounding win for Round 4 on Saturday in Glendale, AZ as he swept all three Main Event races in the first Triple Crown event of the year.

Roczen was tailed by Eli Tomac in the first two races but managed to pull away both times to secure the wins. In Race 3, Roczen had little trouble with Jason Anderson to complete the sweep and extend his points lead in the Championship standings to eight over Tomac who moved into second-place in the standings with his runner-up result. Anderson rounded out the podium and sits in fourth-place just three behind Justin Barcia.

The evening was marred with two Red Flag restarts that featured a pretty gnarly first turn crash in the second race that sidelined Justin Bogle for the night after he suffered a concussion. Chris Blose suffered a concussion and collapsed lung in Race 3 after going down in the whoops which brought out the medics and a stop to the race.

In the 250 West class, Austin Forkner took the first two races and kept it on two wheels in the third race to become the first repeat winner in the 250 class which helps erase a Championship points deficit from his 17th place finish the week before.

Forkner remains in fourth-place in the standings but cut 12 points off Justin Cooper's lead who now sits in a tight race thanks to a rough night featuring a 17th place finish in Race 1 and an overall ninth-place finish after starting the year with a win and two second-place finishes. Cooper holds on to the Red Plate but only sits three points ahead of Dylan Ferrandis who took second overall. Michael Mosiman took third for his first podium of the year.
