Eli Tomac inched closer to the 450 class Championship lead with his second win of the year taking Round 5 of the 2020 Supecross Championship season on Saturday in Oakland, CA.

Tomac managed to get around Ken Roczen, despite crashing at one point, after 13 laps and cruised to the win. Roczen, who won last week, was unable to hold on to second after a minor collision with a hard-charging Cooper Webb on the final turn of the last lap left him finishing third. Webb, the defending Champion, has yet to win this season but got his best finish of the year with his runner-up spot. Roczen holds on to the Red Plate by a slim three points over Tomac.

In the 250 class, Dylan Ferrandis battled Austin Forkner for nearly half the race before finally catching him in the whoops, sticking the pass and taking the checkers for the second time this year. Ferrandis takes the Red Plate from Justin Cooper who finished third behind Forkner. Cooper won the opening round but has yet to grab another checkers this season.
