Heath Harrison continued his dominate riding in the 2015 MotoSport.com AX Tour "Clash for Cash" event winning for the seventh time in seven Rounds and adding another win in the AX Pro class on Saturday in Hattiesburg, MS.

Harrison seemed undeterred from the start setting the fastest overall lap time in qualifying. In the AX Pro class, Harrison grabbed the early lead fending off Zachary Bishop-Burnett and Taylor Holt. Mid-season star Johnny Moore, who won the Clash crown last year, worked his way from the back to pass Holt and take third behind Bishop-Burnett.

In the "Clash for Cash" event Harrison did what he does best and led wire to wire. Moore again showed presence after passing Bishop-Burnett for second but was unable to make much of a checkered flag fight. Moore settled for second in the Clash which put him in the Top 10 for points. Harrison's two wins all but guarantee him the crown in the Clash and AX Pro class. Moore took first in the AX Pro Lites. Bishop-Burnett also finished second in the AX Pro Lite class and a fifth-place showing in the Clash event. Holt grabbed third in the AX Pro Lites and the Clash event for his first podium in that class.

Harrison has 175 points in the Clash event and his closest competitor is Travis Sewell with 99 points. Sewell and several other riders left a few weeks ago to compete in the AMSOIL Arenacross series. Moore who is in ninth place with 53 points cannot catch Harrison but can work his way up the standings to finish in the Top 3 with podium finishes in the final two rounds.

Riders must complete a minimum of eight rounds to be eligible for year-end points so if Moore only just started a few rounds ago he won't get his points. The entire points board will be upended at any rate as many of the riders in the Top 10 moved on to Arenacross.

The Clash for Cash event brings the Top 10 riders from the AX Pro and AX Lites races to compete head-to-head in a 20-lap main event. Riders earn points in each class as well as the Clash for Cash, which offers the highest payout of all the races. The new AX Tour season is capitalizing on last year's record breaking turn-out as more than 30 riders entered for both the AX Pro and AX Pro Lites classes. Additionally, more than $175,000 in cash and contingencies is up for grabs this year.
