Cole Thompson just keeps winning.

Thompson grabbed his third straight "Cash for Clash" win in the MotoSport.com AX Tour on Saturday in Bowling Green, KY. The third-round of the 11-round series featured more competition and Thompson did not win the AX Pro Main but still managed to extend his points lead in the "Clash."

In Moto 1 in the AX Pro class, Willy Browning got off to a great start, maintained his lead and grabbed the win. Dave Blanchet and James Justice followed closely behind but a hard-charging Thompson grabbed second after Blanchett hit the dirt who recovered and took third. In Moto 2, Travis Sewell jumped out early enabling him to grab the win. Nathan Scaggs and Luke Vonlinger battled for second place throughout the race until Scaggs finally got out in front and took second.

The AX Pro main event ended Thompson's win streak in that race for the first time this year. Scaggs capitalized on his strong showing in Moto 2 and took the win. Thompson settled for third behind Maxx Malatia. Scaggs also took the overall win in the AX Pro Lites class main event with Blanchett taking second and Karl Normand third.

In the "Clash for Cash" event, Brice Klippel grabbed the holeshot but quickly gave up his lead to Malatia who led for the first half of the race. Thompson made his charge for the lead at lap 10 and never looked back. Malatia hung on to second battling Browning for the rest of the race but after the two made contact in the final turn, Travis Sewell took second and Kyle Regal followed in third.

The top pro riders compete in the AX and AX Lites classes and the best riders of both classes compete head-to-head in their respective categories in the 20-lap main event entitled "MotoSport.com Clash for Cash" at each stop in the tour. The Arenacross Tour also started in 2001 and features more than 30 amateur class of competitions including pro quad races and new this year is professional women's motocross.

AX Tour races run in a motocross format rather than the traditional arenacross format which gives riders more track time. Riders receive Arenacross tour points according to their finish and at the end of the tour cash bonuses are awarded to the top riders in each class.
